I’m not sure I’d recommend those toys. The first three have mirrors which just presents an unnecessary risk of the bird becoming obsessed over the bird in the mirror. For a crimson bellied conure I'd recommend smaller plastic based things like the abacus toy or wireframe balls with toys in them like the basketball toy or the tri mirror toy....
things like these in my experience doesn't scare them and they like them.
I disagree, mine love them but oh well. Also I have several birds...maybe for a lone bird there would be an issue. I think it would have more to do with that aspect. Mine know that the bird in the mirror isn't real. So your argument IS valid, it just doesn't apply in a larger flock methinks.I’m not sure I’d recommend those toys. The fourth is unsafe because if the bird were to chew through the plastic, he would then be exposed to a jingle bell which are very unsafe do to their ability to entrap toes/beaks/nails etc.
I just think going for more natural toys is the safer and more stimulating way to go.
Plastic toys have their place but not for all birds and certainly not if they have mirrors.
If your bird plays fine with them that good but I would personally be wary.
I don't think my budgie Rocky thinks that her reflection in a mirror is another bird. I don't put mirrors in her cage but I sometimes walk up to a mirror with her and let her investigate our reflections and she shows little interest. She shows more interest in my other budgies but prefers human company.I disagree, mine love them but oh well. Also I have several birds...maybe for a lone bird there would be an issue.
