Update on Midori

So I am still in Christmas mode it seems. LOL! So far she has been eating well. I still am feeding formula in the morning and evening. She has been eating her seed/pellet/fruit mix during the day along with some fresh fruits and veggies. She obeys step up very well. She also seems to take well to potty training, which astounds me. When I get her out in the morning I wait and have her perch on my finger and tell her to go potty before I take her out. She always goes. Its really cute when I finally get her formula ready, I put a tea towel down on the table and then set her down. After I am done feeding her she will scoot backward off the towel and go potty. Like she doesn't want to dirty up her towel. Its too cute!!! I usually can always tell when she needs to go, so I will just set her above her play gym and tell her to go potty and she does that too. She and I were talking to each other this morning. She is very quietly vocal and tells me about her night, lol. I got her playing too, with me. We were "wrestling" and she was on her back and she would grab my finger with her beak, but not biting. I try to make sure she has plenty of daytime cage time, which I will admit is very hard since I just luv her out all the time. She took her first bath in her water bowl today, also. I gave her a bath in the sink the other day and she didn't seem to like it much. I will keep trying though. She luvs to give kisses and curl up on my chest or in the crook of my neck. Se also seems to really like the kids so far. She always tries to groom my youngest's hair. My husband is also completely enamored with her and when I work in the evenings, I come home to her asleep on his chest. So in luv with my sweet baby girl!!!
