My expience with Drs. left me wanting a referral.

For anyone near Louisville, KY I heartily recommend Dr. Sam Vaughn at Stonefield Veterinary Associates. Dr. Vaughn is an avian specialist, one of the few doctors who has passed the board exams to become an Avian Diplomate. You couldn't ask for a better doctor if you are anywhere near Louisville or southern Indiana (Kentuckianna).

I would if I didn't live almost an hour from it. Companion is just down the road and has short wait times as well. They booked me for an appointment when I called for information on accident. It was just for the next morning, so I assume that's pretty quick!

Note: There are also a lot of home-grown 'vets'. They're cheaper and sometimes quite popular, but visit at your own risk. Also, a lot of vets here are not avian specialists nor avian certified; however, they claim to be avian vets because it's their 'interest', not their specialty or certification. She is the only vet in Singapore that does blood tests. Her analysis is done quickly and in-house. Good with birds, less with humans. She takes the time to explain and doesn't leave a stone unturned.

Dr. HSU Li Chieh of The Animal Clinic Pte Ltd does not do any blood tests, when I lasted checked in August 2018. Will only glance over your bird.
