Water in ears.......

My young Sunday has really taken a liking to her showers with me lately. She gets VERY wet and at times puts her head under the direct stream of water. Can birds have issues if they get too much water in there ears? I don't know much about the insides of a birds ear but from the outside it looks like a giant hole. Should I be concerned about her ever getting too much water in them?

It has been awhile since I had looked with detail at drawings of Parrot ear channel.
I do not recall it being a problem as the water commonly streams away, carried by the wet feathers on and near the ear.

I commonly encourage our Amazon to enjoy as much water play as he wants.

Now, I would not, with propose, direct water toward the ear as they tend to be specific on how they bathe and I leave that to their choice.
