We put a deposit down on a baby Quaker a few weeks ago and we got to bring him home yesterday. He is almost 11 weeks old and his name is Ozzy. We only got the chance to meet him once but he came very tame and curious. He has been eating on his own for a little over a week. He is settling in easily and starting to figure out his cage and stand.
In the brooder and the cage after he was with 7 brother and sisters so I was wondering how he was going to adjust but he seems fine so far, not scared of anything although I haven't seen him drink in his cage yet but he did chew on some grapes. He will let us touch him everywhere and even grab him and set him where we want him with no fear or struggling at all I am VERY happy with our new baby Ozzy! I have owned birds before but this is my first baby so any advice or tips are welcome! Oh he hatched May 30th I will get some pics posted soon
