Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(
And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...for Thursday, the 6th,for Amy and the Beebs.
Amy is going to get her nails done, and get her sleeves shortened, ( warmer weather is just around the corner.woohooo!!) and a wellness check.
BB is going for a nail trim and wellness check..Even though ALLPETS,the pet store I frequent, has a young lady with about 10 years experience doing these type of things ( and it is a little cheaper, and closer to home) I still prefer their CAV..and "BIRD" is what they specialize in ( Kensington BIRD and Animal Hospital) I decided to let BB keep his long sleeves...he is flying a lot more now,but still has some slight problems with his landings at times. He has managed quite well with landing on my flat screen,or on the shelf over looking the kitchen sink..even the top of my HEAD a couple times, but I want him to learn so its just second nature before I even think about a clip. I sure would love to take him outside with Amy..seriously now thinking of a harness or flight suit.so...if I do...what do you suggest? and from whom? I do a lot of business with "Windy City Parrots" in Chicago..and Doctor Someone? lol..and what size should I look at??
STEVEN??? ( Boats) what questions should I ask Amys' Doctor, concerning getting her to try and learn to fly?? Maybe I ought to get her a harness also, but would want to know that she is healthy enough to try and fly first??
