Is that one of those long tailed parakeets in closely related to ringneck parakeets???? That was my first thought....

It looks far from being a mustache but it's closely related. I've seen it somewhere just can't remember what it is....When you did years of studies on specific category then switch off to something else, it messes with your head....lol.... For many years all I would read about or study about was birds. Then I switched to rabbits for many years, then fresh and saltwater fish tanks, then reef tanks. Inbetween I cramped a bunch of stuffs....lol

Its a Red-breasted Parakeet. Psittacula Alexandri. At least I was close to begin with.

It is a juvenile Derbyan parakeet.
