What Flight Harness should I get? (Some Pics)

As you can see in one picture we had purchased a flight suit. My bird HATES IT! Despises it!! To be fair I think my wife rushed the acclimation process. We let him play with it for a week, and kept it by his cage for weeks. We than tried to put it on with some treats. He seemed he wanted to take it off more than just leaving it on to play outside.

So instead of a flight suit, I was wondering what is a good flight harness? It seems most birds like the harness more so than the suit. As of now we take him out in a small cage, but he learned how to open the cage door. It was really funny when we watched him get out. Sometimes we take the small cage to our computer room with him in it. That way we can type and do what we need to do with him near by. He likes to bite when we are typing. I don't think he likes the typing. LOL

Anyway, what flight harness should we go for?

I can't speak much on this subject because my sun conure despised his aviator harness too even after weeks and months of acclimation. I purchased the aviator harness (x small I think, whatever it was that was for sun conures). I heard it has the best design, but yeah my bird thinks it's the devil.

I'd say the aviator is probably the easiest to use and the most unobtrusive to the bird.

I use the aviator for my caique, she is fine once it is on her, but my sun conure is the same way and will not tolerate harnesses. I'm going to try again with the aviator on him again but I doubt it will go over well, lol

The best, in my experience, is the Aviator Harness... however, the easiest for me to use with my mitred conure is the Feather Tether. I plan on continuing to use the Feather Teather with him and training my new conure to use the Aviator instead!

Yeah I ordered the aviator, we will see but its def the one who has gotten the best reviews from birds and owners...I wish you the best of luck with it, I thin Ill get my hands full with it!
