What would you put in your birdie "out and about" bag?

A plastic necklace for them to chew on while you walk about. I do this but my birds are smaller so idk if you want a beak that big chewing at your neck area. I also tie toys to a shoe string and let them hang off my neck and they LOVE it.

BRILLIANT

Lol thank you. I have many many bird necklaces I wear on a daily basis and they are\ especially helpful when on car rides as we only really use the Pack'o'bird for poop breaks from my shoulder while in the car or if it's a long trip food and water breaks. I am going on a long trip with many legs to the journey and plane rides with ollie this summer and I am literally jumping out of my skin with excitement. I LOVE traveling with my bird(s).

Bumble did really well on our plane ride to VA and road trip to NC in the POB, but I want to get her harness trained and take her out and about with me - a necklace for her might distract from chewing on the harness and my neck and ears haha!

The necklace totally distracts Ollie from chewing his harness while we're walking around so I think you should try it.

Sailboat,

I just finished reading your thread in the Amazon forum.

All I can say is WOW and THANK YOU.

Anyone who hasn't read it needs to. It doesn't matter what your bird is. I intend to use it as a reference source.

I actually did start with a couple little ideas last night but I feel I could do better so over the weekend I'm gonna get going with some more designs. Depending on the feedback I may actually send the designs off to the creators of the Pak'o'bird.

Took Bumble to the vet today and as I grabbed the few things I take with me, I realized target stick should be on this list.

How long of a travel trip? I take Rudy out for as much as 10 hrs. we have 300 plus trips so far.

He wears the harness, I have a squirt bottle that fits in back pocket. A pocket full of snacks, about 3 handfuls. An extra flight cord. I wear a shirt that he has chewed many times. (12 of them so far) A pocket knife, for sticks.

Not sure I should ever need or take anything else for a day trip.

Im changin ma mind. I wanna take a high camera with us, he looks so happy
