i just woke up and went to check on my budgies and found the little one'a wing like that

first i thought it was a feather stuck or something but when i took her out to inspect her closely her wing looked much weirder i thought she maybe broke it while jumping in the cage or something but she just flew? like she's not actively flying everywhere like she does always but she is flying a bit around the place, then why does her wing look like that and what's wrong with it?

She is a very cute budgie!
I assume the other wing is held in the normal position. It looks like it's injured but you need to take her to a vet to be sure. She could have caught it on something in her cage (the bars, a perch, a toy, etc) and perhaps fractured it or strained/sprained it.

There's not blood (right?) So if it's fractured the skin isn't broken which would be more serious and need emergency treatment to prevent infection and tape the wing to her body after attempting to o set which is very difficult with a tiny bird like a budgie.

The good news is that even if it's fractured (I kind of doubt it if she's able to fly some) it will heal but she may not fly well again. It is more likely sprained or strained and that will heal, too. Please take her to an avian vet for diagnosis and pain medication. I would think any wing injury is painful. Do you have access to a vet who treats birds regularly? A dog and cat vet wouldn't be much help. I would keep her calm and in her cage so she doesn't injure it further trying to fly.

I've had a budgie break a wing panicking in his cage at night when a mouse got inside. His wing was bleeding and very bad and he was in obvious pain but the vet taped it and it healed but he wasn't able to move it or fly again. He lived another 6 years to 13 years old.

I agree with the above that She may have sprained her wing. If she can fly with it then I would say it’s very unlikely that it’s broken. If it’s a sprain it may heal fine on its own if you can’t take her to a vet.

That one feather that's sticking out sideways is probably broken or loose and will fall out on its own. I wouldn't pull it out. It may bleed or hurt when pulled. Some members may recommend pulling it out carefully and that's not a bad idea but personally, I'd have a vet do it.
Let us know how she's doing. She looks like a sweetheart.

Yes her other wing is held in the normal position and no there's no blood at all, she did fly and to a high place too so it's not like she struggling to fly and then flew back on her cage and i put her in and she's calm but i think she's in discomfort she keeps moving the wing as if she's trying to fix it or something like that idrk.

and sadly i don't have irl access to an avian vet so i came here to ask for advice and if it's serious I'll contact an online avian vet to see what's wrong but if it's not dangerous and she can heal on her own there's no need to

Try to keep her in her cage for a couple days so it can heal. I really think she's going to be fine with or without a vet visit.
