Hello,
I have a blue-masked lovebird, Tom, and I have had him just over a year. This whole year he has been so friendly and we were best friends. First thing in the morning he would fly over to my bed as soon as I would wake up to cuddle and be pet. He would always be on my shoulder when I was home no matter what I was doing. He even comes in the car with me sometimes. Within the last two weeks, his mood has changed dramatically. He bites me and is extremely aggressive. I cannot even pick him up out of his cage anymore, I just leave the door open for him to fly around. It makes me so sad because we used to spend all the time I am home together, and now he just wants to bite me. When he flies over to my bed in the morning he will pull out my hair one by one and will not let me pet him. He bit my roommate so hard yesterday he drew blood (something he has not done ever before). I don't know what to do, or what caused this HUGE mood change, seemingly overnight.
