Why my budgie keeps vomiting but spits nothing?

Guys I've been so worried about Evie my male budgie. I don't know why he keeps vomiting and it pains me to see him in that uncomfortable situation . I took him to the vet and vet asked me to changed his feed so I did but still he vomits and spits nothing. There's no spotted food on the cage bars. Please if you know something about this then help me. Please. Evie is so precious to me 😭 I've been trying to attach a video of his doing that but the file is too large thus cannot be uploaded so I'll compress and show you.

As for the vomiting, maybe you should get a second opinion in a different avian vet, or if not definitely keep changing the food diet if not like maybe he has acid reflux, maybe you should give your parrot like probiotic but like specifically for parrots and mix in like banana or something that’s for parrots to eat. But yeah I tried researching this is what they typically do to treat parrots who vomit.

I know avian specialist vets can be very difficult to find sometimes, but was it an actual bird vet that you took Evie to? Parrots often regurgitate if they're in a hormonal or breeding state - sometimes they bring up food and then eat it again, and sometimes they don't bring anything up at all. Have a look at this video of my princess parrot, Peachie. From around the 45 second mark and again at around 1:43, she makes lots of head-bobbing motions like she's going to regurgitate something, but nothing comes out. She's doing this because she's in love with my lorikeet!!

Vomiting is generally accompanied by the head being slung from side to side, because they want to get whatever is bothering them out and as far away from them as they can, and vomit often lands on their head or body. If the head is bobbing up and down that's more usually associated with regurgitating. Also do please be very careful with sudden dietary changes, some parrots really would rather go hungry than eat unfamiliar food sometimes. How is Evie's demeanour otherwise? Is he still eating, drinking, flying and pooping?

I know avian specialist vets can be very difficult to find sometimes, but was it an actual bird vet that you took Evie to? Parrots often regurgitate if they're in a hormonal or breeding state - sometimes they bring up food and then eat it again, and sometimes they don't bring anything up at all. I took Evie to a local vet. Unfortunately the place where I live , it's hard to find an avian vet. Evie's demeanor is quite active , he chirps all day , regurgitates and feed her female budgie too , he's always playful , singing songs and comforting me but suddenly when he does that vomiting thing with no spitting seeds I feel pity on him. He's such a happy bird. He happily preens too. And his poop is always normal, when I open their cage he flies so high and he flies actively. He's still young as you see in the picture. He is eating well too. Regurgitating I'm familiar with this. Evie does this so happily and his regurgitating is always successful. He does head bobbing too. I'm stressed more because some birds hide their illness because they don't want to show themselves weak in front of predators. I'm afraid Evie is not doing something like that. He is perfectly healthy. I've never seen his poop going wrong it's always healthy. I'll watch your video and write you another reply. Thank you for helping me with this. He's so precious to me he never bites. Poco (female budgie is so possessive over food sometimes and fights a bit with Evie ) . I'll see the video of peachie and tell you if Evie does similar to it.

Look more like regurgitating then vomiting to me. Like LaManuka said.
And really, you should try to locate a real avian doctor, regular vets dont know much about birds and may prescribe treatments and medicines not appropriate to birds.

This looks and sounds a lot like the sneeze my lorikeet sometimes makes after he's had some of his dry nectar powder. Sometimes birds might get a little food stuck, perhaps the husk of a seed or even a bit of feather from preening stuck in their throat that they sneeze to dislodge. Hopefully that's all this is with Evie! 🙏 💝
