Bob is sitting on the door of his cage with his wings slightly speard making a wierd chirp/squeeking noise, do I need to get him to the vet?

Yes! It could be a multitude of problems, or nothing at all. Still, what he is doing does not sound normal. Get him in as soon as possible just to make sure & give you peace of mind.

Keep us all updated!

I called the vet the second time he did it, and they said that he was likely just playing; and so I waited till he did it a third time and he seemed more distressed the third time and scheuled an appointment for him in a couple of hours. I will post an update when I know anything.

It turns out the problem is that Bob has not taken any body language lessons from a dog and I don't yet fully understand that of birds. Appearently he was just trying to say "I love you"

I'm sure the vet is used to this kind of visit from new mommies & daddies. Better safe than sorry.

Ya, he seemed so used to it, and wanted to encourage it so he didn't charge me.

That's wonderful that he is alright:)

LOL!!! So glad Bob is okay :) And really glad that he loves you!
