I'm considering this for Fred. It may eliminate some of the cage mess when I feed him messy food. The tray is 21.5 inches in diameter...What do you think?
I have something sort of like that, Sharon. However, mine has the perch supports on the side, so the stainless steel tray can lift out for easier cleaning. I think you should shop around for one of these (very similar to mine):
I got mine for 20 bucks on ebay, but had to drive 45 minutes to get it.
On a funnier note, it took Gandalf about 2 months to warm up to it.
My problem is that there is very little offered in pet stores , and the closest pet store is a four hour drive, one way. This one is being sold in the same city that my daughter lives so she can pick it up for me...I do see that yours does have a more convenient design...maybe I'll have a look online...Thanks!
Oh, and I fully expect Chicken Fred to take a long time before he ventures on it...
