I needed to buy a new loaf pan for the holidays. I just purchased a Wilton brand. It doesn’t list Teflon. Here is what it says “Wilton Duralast non-stick coating. Metal safe non-stick. Two layer non-stick coating uses release technology to merge the layers of durable coating with silicone releasing agents.”

Does anyone know if this is bird safe? I always move Fuji into another room when I am cooking. But, I want to be sure this is ok to use.

Thanks!

I have no experience with this product or the description of their surface. JMHO: Any Marketing Group that goes into that level of spin regarding the coating (or anything) is either working hard to hide something, or they are using someone else's product without permission!?!?

“Wilton Duralast non-stick coating. Metal safe non-stick.(What does this mean!?!? Okay, maybe you can use metal forks, etc...) Two layer non-stick coating uses release technology to merge the layers of durable coating with silicone releasing agents.” (What the heck is going one here, merging layers and all. So the silicone releases the layers or the food!?!?).

Consider placing standard aluminum foil in an old fashion pan!
