A couple of weeks ago I got two green cheeked-conures. The owner had become allergic to them and the birds needed a new home. They are a one year old siblings who is not tame.

Now they eat, drink and play in their cage. They are also flying out and come back to their cage.

They are not afraid of me as long as I'm not too close. They defend the cage against me. They are not really interested in me because they have each other.

Is there any way to get them tame now when they are adults? Or is it impossible with adult Conures who is also siblings?

Sorry for my incorrect english.

They are only a year old???? They're babies!

To my knowledge, all of my conures have been older than that! Youngest, for sure, was 3 years old. One 12 years old, one estimated 9-11 but could have been older.

Start out by finding their favorite treat (millet, healthy nuts, dried fruits, or?) and any time you walk by the cage, drop them a treat into a favorite dish. You can also work on target training them through the cage bars.
