Green Cheek Conure named Sargent Olive Pepper
I have a very kind young (7 month old) GCC named Olive Pepper, and I'm not sure if its male or female but its very nice and not at all seeming to be aggressive but it does a few things I'm not quite familiar with as this is my first conure and I just got it about a month ago, but when myself or my daughter put our hand in the cage, it runs to us and will lay on its back and rub its hard on our hand. He has also started bobbing his head up and down (like dancing kinda) and then stops to look at us as though waiting to see if we do it too or are impressed or something. I have owned a quaker (had him more than 10 years) and I currently also have 2 lovebirds (caged together but seperate from Olive Pepper) . Any advice on what this behavior indicates would be helpful and appreciated as I want to be sure the new baby feels fully happy and at ease and I was unsure if these behaviors indicate that it is or that it's not? Thank you everyone!

That sounds like normal playful behavior. Play along with it.
If he bobs, bob back and make a game out of it. Scratch his belly if he allows it. Have fun with your baby! He learning to trust you and seek you out for fun and attention.
