I'm in the process of working on the bird room, which will serve as a flight room with perches and toys for play time, as well as hold their cages..... I just figured out, the room is to small for all the cages.

So I wanted to see if I could fInd a cage system that would allow me to COMFORTATABLY stack 3 cages to house a Sun, a Jenday, and a GCC. I want room for toys and moving room. The ones I'm finding are so small :(

What do you all use/recommend in this case?

I have two stacker cages both from A&E cages.

The 36x24 is the small bird cages.

Oh, mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn... nice bird room! That tree-perch is great! Did you make it or buy it, please?

Thanks! Another one that was found on craigslist. We browse every once in awhile to see what is being sold locally. We have plenty of them now though.

I have never been an advocate of Stacked Cages. There is no question that they have come a very long ways since the super cheap ones that near fell about after the first good cleaning.

My big complaint is that the lower cage is a real pain in the knees for feeding, water changing, cleaning, and update toys.

So, buy well build if you go this way, targeting 'big' access door(s) and front face food and water bowls. And above all, spend extra time with the poor sole stuck in the bottom cage!

I find regular cages to be a waste of space since half of it never gets used by my birds at least. I've heard a lot of people give the argument if the bird has the option it won't use the bottom one. But I let everyone that is in the triple stacker out at once all the doors stay open. When it Starts getting dark every bird returns to their own cage even the ones on the bottom. And as you saw in the pictures I have stuff all over the ceiling they could sleep on if they really wanted to do so. Some birds won't be suited to the lower levels and you will have to figure that one out yourself but it is possible to do so and have perfectly happy birds. I also have a very well lit room so nothing is ever super dark.

Also, cleaning out the bottom can be a pain but try crawling into a snake cage to get the back corners and there is 'liquid' all over...that is difficult and disgusting. Bird cages are easy lol
