it's looked like that since before we got him. if my guess is correct, it was from the other green cheek that had housed with him, they were both together in one smaller cage with no toys except one... so i think they other bird was most likely nibbling on his tail feathers. i'm hoping when he molts they'll look nicer!
not for my sake but for his... expecially since he's got a gf now. lol jk.

I SO AGREE. they look so mischevious and adorable all at the same time.
as i've been responding to all of these posts, he's has been so obsessed with chasing my mouse on my laptop screen. i put him on my shoulder and he travels down my chest, onto the keyboard. then i put him back on my shoulder, and he goes back down. he's incessant.... hahaha up down up down. i give up. okay, baby, you can eat my laptop it's yours.

Crowley is a pretty...handsome bird! His tail feather wont get any better until he does a full tail molt. Molly is now 1 year old and had just finished molting her tail feathers (last one is growing in) and she has one wing feather on each side to drop and replace. Crowley is handsome as he is but once he completes his tail and wing molt, you'll see!!! You'll have Green Cheeks knocking on your windows! LOL

no we did not, actually hadn't heard of him until you asked! we named him crowley because it was a name in my boyfriend and i's favorite tv show that we watch religiously, SuperNatural. it was one of the demon's names and it just SO fit him lol. >
but reading up on aleistar crowley and thema on wikipedia is quite interesting! thanks for the info
