What herbs are safe to burn around Conures? I just recently got a young Conure and I like to burn herbs in my home to cleanse and freshen the air but I don't want to harm my bird........

Actually it is not safe to burn anything around a bird ! ! !

Birds do not have lungs, as we do, they have no filtering system to prevent smoke and burned carbon particulates from entering and coating their air sacs...and...their air sacs dod not have the extra capacity, as ours do, so that when we coat ours with smoke residue, there is usually enough remaining to allow us to breathe...coat their air sacs and you will see birds panting and unable to fly any longer, like humans who require oxygen to continue living.....

If you must burn anything anything in your house, in the open, without the smoke going up a chimney, you need to take your bird(s) outside of the house until the smoke has settled.....
