I need to find out if I have everything for my 3 yr old male eclectus that I'm picking up on Saturday. So I'm wondering what I possibly may be forgetting to get.I do have a cage, toys, dishes,Perches.People I'm getting him from they are providing pellets and seeds when I pick up.
Thank you :greenyellow:

I'm assuming you have already made arrangements with your preferred avian vet to take a look at him, and that you have done your best job of parrot-proofing your house.

Lighting as in full spectrum is important for our birds unless you have outdoor arrangements. Also a spritz bottle that is gentle (I use the one intended for the reptiles). A shower perch is really good for them too. Hope all goes will for you. Please share photos.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new addition. :D

Sounds like you have everything fairly well prepared. One thing that you definitely need to brush up on if you haven't already is the eclectus diet. They have the most complicated and demanding nutritional requirements of any parrot and from my knowledge, pellets and seeds alone are not enough to fulfill this need. Over the next few weeks/months, I highly recommend introduction fresh fruit and veg to his diet every day.
