1 nanday conure Black Jack, 1 Brotogeris parakeet Whiff, 1 ring neck dove Eliza, and 6 society finches (3 are tame). RIP my parent pairs of societies and my little gouldian finches
In LA there are some wild parrots that have escaped and turned into large flocks. It's pretty cool, but it's rare that you can get close enough to see much of them.
I've been very lucky. I've not seen LA's feral parrots up close, but have seen some of the dozens of species est in Florida (along with many of the 70+ herp species and droves of tropical fish); here in NYC we have Monk Parrots, which, due to their natural range, are adapted to cold weather, and a few Indian Ringnecks.
