Hi there. Just joined the forums. I am becoming the proud owner of a baby lovebird, and would appreciate any tips for first time lovebird owner. I have read up lots, but first hand experiences would be very much appreciated, mostly on the what not to do! :):rainbow1:

I've never had a lovebird, but they're so sweet. Could you post pictures of your baby when you get him/her?

If you've got any questions about food/training/etcetc. then just ask away, I can't answer lovebird specific though, just naughty parrots :p

I love the look of lovebirds! Congratulations! I have always wanted one given their beauty and small size, but they aren't a good personality fit for me. Post some pics!

know about anything specific, just ask. :)

What lovebirds lack in size, they make up for in attitude. They can be very strong willed, so it is important to set boundaries and be consistent with them. They're awesome little birds; just remember, they're not really little birds. ;)
