Hi, my husband and I are in Texas and breed Caiques. Actually, he started the breeding "program" (one pair) and truly enjoyed it. Me? I got the African Grey I always wanted, and I serve as his assistant. That is until this past year, when his health problems moved the now two pairs of Caiques into my care. It's been work, but pretty successful! We have one pair of Black-headed Caiques (Bonnie and Clyde) and one Yellow-thighed (Mom and Dad). Both have proven to be good parents, but, boy, Bonnie and Clyde have attitude...hence, their names.

Hi, welcome!
I had to laugh when I finally realized that "I think" you mean you were your husband's assistant with the breeding, not the African Grey's assistant... but I could be wrong :18:.

I love the names Mom and Dad for your yellow thighed pair :D
