Every night Rocky snuggles up to me and depending on how I'm facing depends on how he snuggles up to me. If I'm on my left side he lays spread out against me if I'm laying on NY right side he will curl up into a ball and lay against my lower back. Well since my left hip/lower back is swollen and in pain so I have to lay on my right side and so when he tired to curl up the way he always does I instinctively said "ow Rocky that hurts stop" since then he has avoided my left side like the plague. Not just trying to snuggle against me but on walks and everything else.

They can definitely sense when things are wrong, and can be so careful to not hurt us. I hope you start feeling better soon.

Thank you Terry I am sure getting into a physical fight yesterday didn't help but I am going to the doctor tomorrow because if something is swollen and hurts to the touch its not a good sign. Sitting in a chair I have both of my memory foam.cluster pillows around my lower back and hip and even they hurt.
