About some beans i bought...

"Small red/white beans" ...that's the scientific name isn't it? 
Black Turtle? Tongue of Fire Beans?? Wow, I'd like to see a pic of those!
Really, I'm sorry to laugh, but I've NEVER heard of ANY of those!
As far as I read, many beans can be toxic if undercooked? I know my birds LOVE cooked pinto beans.

Haha I know most people havent heard of them.. I got them at bulk barn the mix is called "Spicy Northern Soup Mix"
That is a beautiful mix! I am so obsessed with Bulk Barn, so many great things for the fids there

The mix looks good! I learned that what we call "black beans" are the Black Turtle beans you have!
Next time at (Chipotle) or somewhere they ask if you want black or pinto beans, say 'give me black turtle' and see how they look at you. :52:

I love all the flours as well! The red lentil flour is awesome in their birdie bread
