- Congo African Grey Female "GreyCee" 4 Months old
This morning while cleaning GreyCee's cage she was walking around on the floor in the lounge and I had put her stand close by as I was going to put her on later.
I was chatting to her while cleaning and when I turned aroung she had climbed half way up the stand, so I sat next to it and watched as she climbed all the way to the top.
When she got to the top she flapped her wings and cheeped it was as if she was saying "look at me I did it"
She played on it for about 30 minutes climbed off had a walk around exploring the lounge and dinning room. She wont step up on my hand yet but if I hold a short perch and say "up" she gets on the perch have been practicing the with her for a couple of days.
I put her back in her cage she climbed around a little and the climbed to the bottom tore some newspaper and then went to sleep on the bottom, I up her on the top perch and she just climbs down again I think she might just like napping on the bottom I got a perch for the bottom but she won't sit on it.
The breeder said she got a clean bill of health and she is still very young and might just well safer sleeping or napping on the bottom. Time will tell I guess
