30 days tomorrow , he is doing good except the feather plucking he has not gave that up yet now he is pulling feathers out from the front of his wings , I watched him pull one out tonight and I tried my best to side track him which lead to his bad words again , I see this is going to be a never ending battle with him , he lets me rub his beak and give him scratches all the time plus he is playing on top of his cage with some foot toys , I have a ton of foot toys on top of his cage , so has a lot to keep him occupied plus he is eating his pellets good and drinking plenty of water , I just wish he would stop pulling out his feathers and wish their was a miracle cure for that

Well at least you have made progress. I'm sure over time and with your love and patience he will learn he doesn't need to pluck himself.

I'am hoping his bad words will taper off in time , I misted him with some Tropical Rain today before I went to work and yep he had a few choice words for me , nobody says that around here so hopefully he will forget it someday

Willie will blurt it out sometimes, he learned it from TV...ugh....I usually censor stuffs he watches, but sometimes you just can't help it what's playing on DVD or certain shows we watch....He haven't said any bad word in a very very long time....But they don't forget....

The worst part is, it is not his fault.
MikeyTN is quite correct they never forget any words especially the bad ones.
Perhaps try changing the word to FUGLY and saying "Smokey is fugly".
Anything is worth a try
