A poem my niece wrote

My beautiful niece wrote this poem, she is so talented when it comes to writing.
this poem is about her boyfriend after parting their ways.

what do you all think?....I'm trying to convince her that she has a god given talent and should not be wasted....

Darkness falls

What so much pain draws nigh
As we approach out tearful goodbye
What curse has been out upon me that I could feel this deep
What things must I have done to have my heart so broken
Why me I ask with no reply I search for answers with no avail
Why was I chosen to love this one who has not the capacity of love
The black sky is empty as well as my arms as he is gone in the night
This tale of love has so many fooled..
It will not claim another victim
How many like me see the inky darkness of the pain love leaves in it's wake
The path of destruction, to wallow in the silence of what could have been
I shout to the heavens, I will not admit defeat
Forging ahead with a story on my lips and tragedy in my past
Travelling the streets of this world
Another traveller, wrought with tales to tell, foes defeated, and the capacity for love

who can write like that??!!....I certainly can't, no where near it.
