baby crow abandoned?

There's a little baby crow which seems to have been abandoned by its momma perched in the garden outside out apartment building!

He's been there for hours calling but there are no other crow sounds in the vicinity so I think mom and dad have taken off. Any ideas what to do with him, or should I just leave him?

I would take him away from predators and feed him but that's me, I adore crows!

I like them too but I'm afraid to handle him in case I carry a disease to Sootie

I took him a bowl of water and some chop mix and got dive-bombed by an adult as I was walking away so looks like momma has found him! He'll at least have something to drink until she takes him away, haha!

Yep, he sounds like a little fledgling. Good thing his mom was nearby. Those guys can get pretty noisy if they think their baby is in danger! I love crows too.

Speaking of fledglings, I saw a fledgling American Robin fly right into a window and it started twitching and stuff, this was last week, I was really scared for it. It turned out to be okay. I think it was just freaking out - after a few disoriented jumps later it was flying back to normal. I hope it was alright anyhow...
