We finished the first stage of turning the balcony off the living room into an aviary, and right on time too. It's beautiful out and the birds love it. We still have to put some trim around a few edges, but no one's getting out and no one's coming in ;)

Stage 2 is adding trees and play stands :) more pics to come

Wow, what a birdie paradise out there! I bet they are loving being in the sun:) Can't wait to see everything you are adding.

that picture was kind of small too, but even with full sun there are shady places for them. It can get a little too humid in here with the doors closed, so it's such a relief to be able to safely open them for fresh air and not have to put them in their cages. The warm breeze is lovely.

This weekend is a trip to the garden centre for some magnolia trees and a japanese maple.
