My Nanday has been hanging on the front of the cage lately while she's watching TV. Her tail was sticking out and my cat tried to grab it the other night. Luckily I saw right away and put a stop to that.

I actually had a break through today right after posting. I had moved the happy hut to a spot near the side where they like to hang on the side of the cage, because they were tearing up there tail feathers climbing up and down the side of the cage. Well it didn't stop the behavior, but I looked up and they were coming out of the happy hut. I couldn't have been happier. Now I just have to figure out what to do about them hanging on the side and messing up their tail feathers.

Looks like I'll have to reintroduce the Happy Hut to Con and see if I can get some good results. I think he gets a little cold at night because I turn his heater off so I can sleep. I'm worried he might get sick or might be getting sick. He seems to make coughing and sneezing noises a lot.
