All of my birds have always enjoyed me singing to them. I have a fair singing voice but Brady (older YN that chose me) takes her love to another level. She begins to bee bop up and down, feed me and get super excited. Not to the amazon point of no return now I must eat you mode but super happy so I have been singing to her daily. There has been some pretty overwhelming sadness and loss in my life recently so making her happy has eased my pain to some degree.
This morning I am doing morning chores before I let everyone out for the day and I hear singing. Turns out it was Brady mimicking me and greeting the day!

I hope someday that my birds sing along with me.
It just makes it nice when they do things with (and for) you.

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
My favorite of these is Tusk doing "Eskimo Kisses."

Rubbing nose to beak while singing "Let's rub noses, like the Eskimoses..."

:DIt's the little things in life... :D
