branches from apple trees

Are apple tree branches safe to use as a natural perch?

yes they're safe as long as they don't have insecticides on the branches x

Thats good to know because my grandmothers neighboor has some apple trees that she regularly has a company trim some branches so I will talk to her and if see if she will keep a few of the branches a couple for me and some form my grandmas parakeets.
