Nice.......what size and what brand? Very good looking cage. I may be getting one like that.
You probably should get another for the two little ones. LOL

I am not sure on the brand. We got it used from a macaw breeder. There is a sticker on the bottom that says SIXIS. I was describing it to a breeder and she said it was a California cage but she hadn't seen it, but from looking them up on the internet it seems they look similar enough that's probably true. It's 43 long 40 high 28 deep. Well, I may have the high and long swapped but something like that. That's the inside dimensions. The play top is well over my head and I'm 5 foot 2. I wish the food holders were higher, it's going to be tricky positioning the perches so she doesn't poo in her food.

And yeah, there's little point in having a fabulously big cage if you DON'T take advantage of it by photographing the children in the cage!! :D Besides taking the picture, we have been practicing the "don't touch the cage" rule.

Wow! Nice cage! Trust me, i would keep the skirt. I know it seems annoying, but when she sits on the very edge of the playtop with her tail hanging off the border, the poop will be caught in skirt. My GCCS have a similar but smaller playtop and they poop over the edge all the time. The skirt helps aloft with poop and food.

that picture is hilarious. It looks like they are dueling!!! What a beautiful wingspan!
BTW, your Bolivian macaws always make me think of my in-laws-they have been missionaries in Bolivia for the past 20 years. My husband spent ten years of his life there. That's where he had his BH Pionus-his parents bought the Pi in the market for $10! I don't know if my MIL has ever seen a macaw in the wild, I'll have to ask her. They live in one of the biggest cities. She has seen lots of little green ones (which I think may be conures.)
