Green Cheeked Conure called JellyBean
JellyBean my green-cheek is normally the most loveable bird...doesn't really bite! Just now he was on my shoulder and started nipping my ear, so I took him of my shoulder, told him No and put him on his perch... I had literally just turned around when he flew to the ground and ran over and bit my toe!!!!!! He was then put in his cage! He is almost 18 months old and I am fearing this could be the start of trouble!! Am I right?

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Probably not, unless you over react to it. Just a hissy fit.

Chewing on an ear is usually an attention getting thing. Something may have upset the bird and he was trying to alert you to it.
