great cage here I got lucky and had paid for a 36"x30" and they wanted to put it on backorder for 2 months,and she ate the difference on the 40"x32"

Lots of different sized cockatoos.

Sounds like you need to do A LOT more research on Cockatoos before you plan on bringing one into your life.

THEN it's time to figure out what cage.

A good rule of thumb for a cockatoo is to get the largest (within reason) cage that is affordable and can fit in the given area. Cockatoos are very playful and active. Other important considerations include the bar-spacing distance and safety of the paint, doors/hinges, and food dishes.

First you must decide the species of interest to have a better sense of the bar spacing necessary.
