In about a week I'll know if my chickie is a boy or girl.

I had her blood taken by a couple who will now be doing ALL of her maintenance grooming. They were just awesome! They came out to my house, handled her like she was their own, and gave me tons of great advice. They looked her cage and food over for me, too, and said I did well, which was a big relief, since I was sort've flying by wing... (lol)
Also found out that her breeder did her wings wrong! >< I hadn't even pulled them out yet, and I'm glad I didn't, because she was MAD. (I don't blame her, with the hack job that was done on her!)

I took a little video, and once I figure out how to post it somewhere and link it here, I'll post it. :3

Honestly, I'm hoping for male. My parents has a 'tiel that almost died from laying eggs (She wasn't with a male or anything, she just wouldn't stop laying) so that scares me. They were probably doing something wrong with her husbandry to cause that, though, so I dunno.

I'm hoping for a male too haha I seem to have better luck with male critters than females (except my hedgehog.. he hated everyone... and my female beardie is the exception too, she's as sweet as can be <3 )

So far, all my pets are male. xD
I guess it would be cute if me and her were the only girls, hehe.

I'm quite the opposite, I'm hoping for a female, though the egg binding does scare me a bit, a balanced diet and calcium should keep that in check. Tell us ASAP when you find out!

Women out number males in my house though so I'll just be adding more to the population

1 female dog
1 female ferret
1 female bird(if the bird is female)
3 female humans(not counting the one that comes over all the time )


and I have 3 males here Me, the dog, and a male ferret

I got results of my new baby which I pick up Wed. Baby GCC is a boy and I felt like I gave birth when I got the news. It is so wonderful. I know how excited you all are.
