We are looking for a bird for our family. It's very much like we are pregnant and waiting for the day the new addition comes to the family!
I just weighed my bunny! First time since summer I did that. Last time I weighed him he was 12 pounds. He's now about a year old, and weighs 18 pounds!
I'm so excited. He's such a wonderful boy! We really love our bunny, and I highly recommend them as companion animals. They love your presence. Don't demand your attention, and just love company, like having you in the room with them, laying on the floor, or sharing a snack is the best binding time in the world to them.

awwwww Flemish Giants are the sweetest rabbits! Yours sure is handsome. I used to have Neatherland Dwarfs, and while super cute, they were not as sweet as the bigger bunnies. If I ever get another bunny it will be a Flemish Giant. Thanks for sharing! :D

Because they are larger, they are much less skittish. He rarely thumps, and usually when he is annoyed that I want to pull butt fluffies off (flemishes shed like CRAZY). And it's only one light thump. I had a smaller bunny, that you could hear over the home stereo! The flemishes are really a gentle giant, and will be quite tolerant of everything. But just like little bunnies, he prefers when you don't invade his space, and let him come to you.
