Fred is a weirdo

For some reason Fred has decided he hates feet. LOL. He climbed up on the ottaman and attacked my foot. LOL. Didn't bite as I seen what he was doing and moved my foot, but he puffed up and opened his beak all the way and gave chase. LOL. Whats funny is if you have socks or shoes on he's fine just doesn't like feet. Even ran across my floor and got my daughter. LOL. Like I said didn't really bite. Just let me know he doesn't like feet.

Why did he decide this all of the sudden?

My GCC also has a foot "fetish" ... she loves to attack them whenever she can. She is also into chewing on shoes and socks; if I leave them out she always spots them and flies to them immediately. It seems to be a conure thing; in the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill one of the wild conures who lives inside sometimes attacked the feet of the caregiver.

OMG yes, my GCC hates feet too! specifically, TOES. He puffs up, and opens his beak up all the way as he runs towards the offending feet. My toes are always nicely pedicured, and the site of the dark polish seems to really piss him off!

Conures are so funny!

Last night he kept flying to the sofa and attacking my wifes feet. It was histaricle as she didn't move and he limbed up and was biting her toes. She was laughing so hard because it tickled and asking me to help but I was on the floor rolling.
