I took my bird to the vet and he says he is fine, but I know he is not. He got his sinus inflamed and this black dot. please someone help me find out what it is, and how to cure it. Thank you.

I wonder if that's a bruise...? This is going to sound obvious but have you tried cleaning with a damp cloth and confirmed it's not a stain? This is definitely very odd, the only thing i can think of is bruise but I've never heard of birds bruising there so I'm really not sure.

Is he acting normally? Eating, drinking, perching up off the floor of the cage, active and vocalizing?
