How old is this Ekkie?

Hi all. We recently adopted an Eclectus and the previous owner didn?t really know how old she was. They said about a year? What do you guys think?

Congrats! From the yellow on the beak, perhaps a little younger. Looks very similar to mine when she was 10 mo.

I’d agree in the 10-14 month range. The horn color on the beak is one clue. Also, it’s hard to tell but it looks like she MIGHT be starting to get a blue eye ring, an age-related right of passage for Solomon island eclectus females, which yours is likely.

Agree with above. Paprika just turned a year old and has a little bit of yellow still at the tip of her beak.
