One hilarious yellow-sided green cheek conure
I just received my new HQ flight cage yesterday and so far I 99% love it! It was easy to put together and it is huge! I haven't moved my gcc in yet but I know he's going to love it! Just one thing concerns me... The way it screws together. There are holes in the bars for the screws to go into, but because the holes go all the way through, this leaves the back open and I worry water can get inside the support bars during cleaning and rust. Any thoughts?

If you take care of the cage, rust shouldn't be too big of an issue.

I have one single HQ Flight Cage (bought brand new, still in box from someone who bought it for their sugar gliders) and it's still a pretty good cage, a few years down the road! I have noticed the occasional rust from the holes in the side, but I haven't noticed rust anywhere else from the cage.

I recently bought a double A&E Flight Cage (used - was hoping it was an HQ), and so far, that cage has been good as well. I don't know how old it is, and there hasn't been any sort of rust from what I've noticed.
