Today while I was out I picked up another toy for Kiwi, I have read that amazons like to chew wood & the only toys that she plays with have cotton rope, this one combines the two so keep your fingers crossed that it might spark an interest. I have read alot in the different threads to try and play with the toys in front of the bird to illicit a reaction. I did this today, sat on a chair and played, loudly with the new toy. Kiwi went nuts, loudly talking and carrying on while I played with the toy. Everytime I picked up the toy and started carrying on she would verbalize and carry on. I loved the reaction. I was playing with her tonight on the floor and thought I would show it to her and see what she did, well she seemed a bit scared of it. I then hung it on her play stand, same thing she was afraid. What do you think? Did she just like it from a distance. I need some direction on helping this girl learn to play! Sometimes I wish I could speak her language!! However I know some of you do, Help!!
