I know that we are not supposed to share saliva with our birds - no mouth kissing. Jenga and I have been practicing touching beaks for our kisses. I want to know if I'm being paranoid about, for example, if I taste the recipe while I'm cooking it - is that OK? Or if I eat off my fork and then cut her a piece is that too close of a call? I've been playing safe rather than sorry, of course, but what do you think? I think she'd like it much more if she could eat directly off my plate - and she seems more willing to try things that way than if she has her own bowl.

You don't need to be too paranoid. Eating from your fork or spoon is fine as well as your plate....unless you drool a lot of course! LOL
