Both, probably; parrots (and other kinds of birds) are very sensitive and intelligent.

You really had me scared when you were up there on that ladder. I'm not thrilled about heights either and I am familiar with the sometimes horrible sensations of GraVitY

ps... if you were writing a book I would have been glued to every chapter. Thank providence it was a short story that ended so well
