Hi Everyone

I'd like to introduce y'all to Lola.

I need help finding out whether if she is an African or Indian Ringneck.

The breeder told me she was an Indian Ringneck..

But Her beak seems a bit Dark to be an Indian.. Yet her size is too big to

indicate African..

She was not hand reared so she is a bit feisty but great progress has been

made in the few weeks I've had her.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

If you can provide some better, larger images, I could ask a couple of groups their opinion... but as I mentioned in another thread, it would be great to see her parents, too!

I'm having issues with photobucket. When I upload pictures they appear as small thumbnails.. But I attached one high res pic. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

As far as the parents are concerned the breeder doesn't allow anyone into her aviary.. She states that birds stress out when they see a stranger while nesting and they could kill their chicks.. I asked her for pictures of Lola's parents. Hopefully she'll reply to my email soon..

Could be uploading options effecting the size of the images???

I can definitely see the darker beak in the newer images! I hope the breeder is willing to get pics of the parents!

It was the size of the images you uploaded I believe, it's showing as a smaller size when I try to view the picture through photobucket. Did you resize the images??

Actually, I tried to get more info from the breeder and she never got back to me...

She is super active.. squawks alot.. likes to pick on my Alexandrine.

She sleeps from 10PM-7AM I let her out of her cage while im getting ready for work.. she chews her toys for a few minutes while I clean out her food and water dishes.

shes really warming up to me.. but still is a bit distrustful.

hope this helps.
