I got her last Wednesday. She bit me so hard but the situation gets better. Now, she likes to stay on my tummy when I sit but still she doesn't like to step up onto my hands much.

She eats well, and her poos are normal. But she won't climb up and down in her cage. She likes sitting still. Since everything is alright, I guess, it's only because she doesn't get used to the new home yet...

So, it has been a week that this beauty has came to my home.
She's not active as she likes standing still just behind the front cage bars.
Her poos and eating are perfectly alright.
And sometimes when I look at her secretly,
she climbs up and down.
I tried many times to hold her,
but many scars as a result.
But she likes sitting on my tummy.
I hope I can really enjoy her stepping up and down on my hands.

She is absolutely gorgeous!!!! When we first got our blue fronted Amazon, she was terrified of hands and would not step up. (She was a rescue and had some bad experiences). We just let her take her time and kept working with her with a lot of patience. It took her almost a year, but you would not believe the changes in her. She is now cuddly, steps up, and is such a loving and wonderful girl!! Just give her time and patience and the end results will be well worth it! Let's see, now for names - hmmm - how about Skye or Sasha. I also like Wendz2712 name suggestions. She is a beautiful girl so she needs a beautiful name. I love the name of my grand daughters new bird. It is "Amira"(it means princess). Have fun picking a name.
