They do become anything from mildly upset to absolutely terrified to mad as hell about anything on their people that is "different", just depends on the bird. Haircut, hair-color, different make-up, different earrings or other jewelry, different clothing, things like glasses or sunglasses (my Senegal nearly broke a new $200 pair of RayBan's in the car one day, and he almost ended up being thrown out the window of the car along with the RayBan's, lol)...Usually they'll eventually get used to whatever it is, but it takes time and is usually painful for the person, lol...
***I could tell you a pretty graphic story about my Green Cheek, Bowie, and my latest Tattoo that is on my right shoulder-blade, but I'll just say that I'm glad it's just a black Tattoo and not a colored one, and that's it's pretty small, because I've had to have it touched-up five times already since I got it done in 2013 due to large chunks of it suddenly disappearing...
I'll also be "That Guy" and point out that you can't EVER use nail-polish or nail-polish remover with your bird in the same room or anywhere near you, and you have to vent the room you do it in and make sure that any and all fumes/scent of it is completely gone before you allow your bird to be in that room again, because nail-polish and Acetone both are some of the most potent and deadly fumes for birds to breath-in. There, I said my peace...
