Well, as the title says I am wanting to get a sleeping cage for my Jenday. Currently her cage is out in the living room which is next to the TV and in a high traffic area. I am a bit of a night owl and go to sleep well after she should be snoozing. I know my night activities have to bother her.
Her day cage is an A&E playtop with inside dimensions of 24"x22"x30". I want to get a cage for my bedroom that I can put her in to get her 10 to 12 hours of undisturbed sleep. Since she wont be stuck in there all day I want to go smaller than her day cage. What dimensions should a sleep cage be for a Jenday Conure? I found a nice cage, 16"x16"x22". It looks like she should be able to fully stretch her winds and turn around no problem. IS that a good size or too small?
Also, what should I put in her sleep cage? Just a perch? Water and/or food? Any toys? Thank s in advance for all the help.
